What services count as cosmetic tattoo?

Cosmetic tattooing includes brow work such as microblading, ombré powder brows, nano brows, and combo brows, plus permanent eyeliner, lip blush, scalp micropigmentation, and medical work like areola restoration and scar camouflage. Xtremities offers the full range in Mississauga so clients can address whatever matters most to them.

Is cosmetic tattoo the same as permanent makeup?

Yes, the terms are used interchangeably, along with micropigmentation. They all describe depositing pigment into the skin to replicate or define makeup, whether for brows, eyes, or lips. Modern cosmetic tattooing is soft and natural, unlike the harsh tattoos of the past. Xtremities performs the full range in Mississauga.

How long does a cosmetic tattoo take to heal?

A cosmetic tattoo heals over several weeks: the colour looks bolder at first, softens over one to two weeks with light flaking, and settles to its true colour at around four to six weeks, when a touch-up perfects it. Xtremities guides each Mississauga client through aftercare for a clean, lasting result.
